Dimitri Neonakis is back in the skies with another stellar piece of sky art. Watch as the flight path grows three sizes today and the Grinch comes together. Well done!

Hero. ❤️

'43-year-old father of two, Ahmed el Ahmed, wrestled a rifle off one of the Bondi Beach gunmen. Ahmed is from Sydney’s Sutherland Shire and owns a fruit business. He has no known experience with guns and was visiting Bondi when he saw the shooting unfolding.

Wow. Amid horrific news of a shooting at Bondi Beach, this looks like a truly astonishing act of courage.
Video, I believe recorded off of local TV, of a bystander disarming one of the two killers.

Earnestly cried about this bird the other day. “To find humanity, simply look for healed bones and toys.”
4) 2400 years ago, one Scythian wanted a plush bird toy and someone painstakingly made them one by hand out of three different colors of reindeer fur and felt, with contrast stitching. I think people will always do these things for each other. (Apparently Scythians loved plushies? Bitches, man.)

Sometimes I'll be going about my day, minding my own business, and I'll remember Alan Rickman's pained face as he says, "By Grabthar's Hammer, what a savings" and start giggling

Catelyn once urged Brienne to "fight for the living."

This foreshadows:
1) Brienne fighting on the side of the living, against the wights.
2) Brienne betraying the mission that Lady Stoneheart (the dead) sends her on in some way.

raise your hand if you’re surprised
as adaptations go, Benioff and Weiss' 3 Body Problem is equivalent of gutting a beautiful house and redoing everything in shades of millennial grey.

"Go to an old cemetery. See all the baby graves from before the 1950s & 60s? After that, hardly any. That's when people started vaccinating their children against deadly childhood diseases. If you're unsure what to do to protect your kids, the answer is literally written in stone." — Michael Okuda

Watching people on tv talk about how losing a girlfriend and losing a job are stressors that can play a part in motivating a mass shooter and nobody’s talking about the fact that women lose jobs and relationships too and it literally almost never ends in mass murder.

An amazing analysis of One Hundred Years of Solitude influences on Encanto, made by a Colombian, also explaining some references and history. Now I want to re-read the book again and then watch Encanto 😊
