I posted on *three platforms* just over *20 minutes* after Radio-Canada first misidentified this innocent trans woman as a mass shooter on national television in a 6:00pmET broadcast.

I tagged Radio Canada and Patrice Roy.

They didn't issue a correction until after 2:00pmET today.

Unacceptable.
Radio-Canada apologizes after it aired a photo circulated by anti-trans hate groups online, falsely claiming it was a photo of the Tumbler Ridge shooter. Damaging and irresponsible, and this apology raises more questions about journalistic process imho.

Correction sur la couverture de la fusillade à Tumbler Ridge
La direction de l'information s'excuse de la publication d'une photo présentant à tort une personne comme étant responsable de la fusillade.

The repeal of the "endangerment finding" will make it harder for future administrations to regulate carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act without a new law or amendment passed by Congress—with serious public health and climate consequences
What repealing the 'endangerment finding' means for public health
The EPA has scrapped a rule stating that climate change harms human health. Here’s what that could mean

This teenager saved his neighbor's dog from drowning in a freezing pond. This is Bernard. His family contacted emergency services right away, but high school senior Hugh Pinneo got to Bernard first. Hugh said he's "just glad I acted that day and saved the dog's life." We are too. 12/10 for all

If someone wanted to give me this Leica Q3 Monochrom full frame 60mp fixed 28mm f/1.7 I'd be happy to photograph with it but at nearly $8k,
I'll just continue goofing off with the Nikon Coolpix A

I think they missed their chance to plaster a big nameplate on the front

nor octopi in their soup

This is Minneapolis.

So damn proud of this place. Easily the largest group bike ride I've ever seen of people showing up for the Pretti-Good Memorial Ride. Huge thanks to all those who did logistical work, marshalled, and showed up for justice.
