When I was a kid, mostly my meltdowns looked like crawling into bed and sleeping.
HOWEVER, there was one exception to this: when I couldn’t find the book I was reading. I’d go tearing through the house looking for it, filled with anger and angst.

At first glance I thought these were enormous structures on a hill. Not so much.
Lichenomphalia umbellifera on an algae-covered stick. This species of mushroom is a basidiolichen lichen. Fungal hyphae integrate with algal cells, using the food produced by the algae through photosynthesis.
