Oh God oh God, please don't do this. I don't care what someone's take on protests tomorrow or next week or during the next Bowling Green Remembrance Day is, but WHENEVER THAT IS, you don't have to sign up for protests!
also if you see a website about a “strike” or other large-scale protest, and they ask you to “sign up” by giving your personal information, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION! they are almost certainly honeypots! and any that might not be can easily be compromised!

I see people musing that the vibe here has changed, and I would urge people to remember that there's a lot of anxiety about the change of administration in two weeks and that's going to leak into a lot of other places in one's life. Be as gracious as you can with yourself and others.
