As someone who was born and raised in Brazil until they were 14. When I hear Black Americans talk about Brazil, and how accepting it is of Black people. I am always confused, because Brazil is very racist.

It’s many years since the shelter in place and restrictions of early COVID but as an introvert I’m just coming to terms with the fact that a lot of that world was better for my social life

The groundskeeping people were out leaf blowing yesterday. IN THE RAIN. They're annoying and they're bad for everyone and they smell.
normalized lawn aesthetics are terrible for the climate and it is wild to me people who have (fully valid) concerns about reducing cars, AI, etc don't seem to bring it up more. 1,000 miles of driving, regularly, for every lawn. I hear one outside my window now
