So, this should finally put to rest any delusions that there are decent people left in the US military who will stand up to illegal orders and protect democracy. The US military is now more likely to kill US citizens rather than help them. They are not our friends.

Hot take. But the drill holes should stay. They should be reminders that while we can tear down the work of tyrants, they still leave damage that lasts for generations. We shouldn't forget this era, we should always be reminded of him so another of his kind never rises to power again.

I've been flying #Southwest for many years, it was always free to check a bag, and I've never had one lost. Now that the new policy of charging $35 kicked in, I paid for the first time . . . and they lost my bag immediately. I like the old policy better – "don't pay and we won't lose your shit."

I have to go FL tomorrow, normally a 3 hour direct flight from RI but for some reason my boss thought the best way to go was connecting flights so I spend 5 or 6 hours to get there. FFS, I've flown from CA to FL in 5.5 hours! He thinks I have nothing to do all day except spend days in airports.
