I've tried oiling and seasoning the pans and they never come clean. I now wash it with soap and water, dry them and oil them immediately.

So I created this mesh that seemed to be exactly what I wanted. However, projecting an image onto it . . not so much. When I UV unwrapped it was unworkable. I'm now thinking about bump maps and displacement to achieve the same goal . . . we'll see . . .
