Worth saying too that if it starts to feel like a job or obligation (and isn't a space that you make money from, because some of us do earn our income from fandom) - that's a pretty good sign that you might need a break!!
Fandom isn’t your job. Take a month off. Take 3 years off. Post incomplete fics. Post incomplete art. Never post again. Switch fandoms. Stay loyal to one fandom only. Do whatever tf you want. You literally make all the rules of engagement in this arena.

In case you need some inspiration for "you can do whatever you want", for Hallowe'en my 6 year old niece is a hot dog dragon. Because she wanted to be a hot dog, and a dragon, and refused to choose one. And she's the cutest hot dog dragon around!
