Will play well with families and media but..
1. What's described here is what most schools already do.
2. Insisting on "inclusion bases" going to have massive perverse incentives.
3. Many interventions are bobbins - creating more spaces for these without cleaning them up will spread bad practice.
DfE expects every secondary school to have an inclusion base as part of its ten year estates plan. These will comprise of support bases set up by trusts and schools and specialist bases commissioned by councils. @tesmagazine.bsky.social story here : www.tes.com/magazine/new...

The government’s 10-year estates plan includes the goal for all secondaries to have dedicated spaces that bridge the gap between mainstream and specialist provision

A year’s work coming to fruition.
Delighted to see Discover Geography now publishing. This is more than a textbook series. It’s a complete KS3 / lower secondary curriculum package designed for both UK and international contexts.

Ossoff: We were told that MAGA was for working-class Americans. But this is a government of, by, and for the ultra-rich. It’s the wealthiest Cabinet ever. This is the Epstein class. They are the elites they pretend to hate.

Prosecutors began investigating Renee Good's killing, then Washington told them to stop.

Federal prosecutors had a warrant to collect evidence from Good's vehicle, but Trump leaders said to drop it. About a dozen prosecutors have since departed.

#Soane2 Thanks for another fantastic conference @michaeldoron.bsky.social It is so lovely to see your school and, as ever, I’ve come away with lots of ideas and strategies, as well as feeling revitalised. It’s so nice to be surrounded by history people for a whole day.

I mean, Konstatin Kisin holds no public office, he is responsible for absolutely nothing. All he does is lie and race bait for clicks and cash. There is absolutely no justification for using the licence fee to give him air.
The BBC normalising yet another grifting, lying, race baiter is the story here. Why are we paying for this?
Konstantin Kisin straight up lying on #bbcqt

Douglas Alexander: “When Fraser Nelson put it to you that Rishi Sunak is absolutely english… you said “he’s a brown Hindu, how is he english?”

Kisin: “No, that’s not what I said...”

1. Been thinking about this more overnight.
Years back I worked at a school where the MAT told us to reduce suspensions by "finding other strategies."
They gave no guidance on what these should be. They sort of "challenged" us to find them.
I'm sure the aim was noble but it was bad..
