It’s an amusing thought, but it’s hard for me to think that this will get very far without the courts requiring due process.  A precedent allowing removal of political figures based on accusations alone totally would not get misused.

Would now be a good time to bring up the part where fine particulates like smoke are realllllly bad for you? I mean, Texas already is a pretty hostile place to live right now so I am not sure how much worse this makes it, but still.
Seems smoke from the Canadian wildfires is making it all the way down to Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi today.

I appreciate that the police in Texas have finally put in place a system to let us know we need to take shelter from them. This was a surprisingly progressive move on their part!
