I'm betting the odds that Johnson has a few on the GOP side that will remove their support and the files won't be released. That or the DOJ will refuse and the House won't pursue further through the courts.
Happy Adelita Grijalva Swearing In Day to those who celebrate, i.e. everyone who believes in a system where people are represented in government.

Anyone that is in a white collar job should be worried. GenAI is destroying white collar jobs. It's a powerful tool that can't be ignored, but will drive significant efficiencies that will eliminate a lot of jobs. Just look at the big tech firms on the front end, like AWS and MSFT.
“.. 55% of employed Americans say they’re concerned about losing their jobs, and 62% of respondents said the cost of their everyday items had climbed over the last month.”

Q: A provision was added allowing senators to sue the US govt for $500k. What do you say to that?

JEFFRIES: House Democrats are gonna offer an amendment before the Rules Committee to get that self-dealing sick provision out of the spending agreement

November 10, 2025 at 2:53 PM
Spoken like someone with their head in the sand. The Dems seriously need new leadership that understands what is a stake and the old way of doing business hasn't worked for almost two decades.

Speaking as an independent who cares about democracy. I wish there was a third party.
Kaine on why he thinks just getting a vote on healthcare is a win: "We're the minority party, but everybody will get to see who is standing for them when it comes to lowering their healthcare costs"

We need to tell our senators we need a new minority leader if this vote goes through - @warren.senate.gov @markey.senate.gov . If my MA Senators don't step up to call for @schumer.senate.gov to resign immediately, they should also be replaced.

I'm calling it right now. If this is true, the Democrats will lose the midterms next year. Their leadership will alienate the base and independent moderates.

Voters will not show up, frustrated with the old guard fucking things up over and over again.

@schumer.senate.gov and my former senator @durbin.senate.gov will go down as causing so much damage to democracy with their weakness and lack of ability to stand up for what is best for their constituents and the country. Durbin should retire immediately before he does more damage.

Bears defense coming out of half time asleep. I know they are dealing with a lot of injuries, but they are supposed to have an amazing DC that week in and week hasn't solved their issues.
November 9, 2025 at 7:47 PM
Can someone explain why the special teams coach for the Bears keeps his job? The coverage is horrible, they don't trust the kicker to not get kicks blocked. They get a D or F every week on special teams, no changes. Last year wasn't great either.
November 9, 2025 at 7:44 PM
The cat is out of the bag and the sports leagues are 100% to blame.
November 9, 2025 at 6:35 PM
I think the Bears have a FG kicker problem if they don't want him to kick FGs longer than 45 yards for a fear of getting it blocked.

DHS confirmed it has stopped automatically storing officials' text messages.

Instead, officials are supposed to take a screenshot, send that to their work email, download it onto their work computer and run a text-recognition program on it. Every time.

The Federal Court tells you how to comply with written law. If contempt for law that this administration has shown isn't a constitutional crisis, nothing is.
