Nearly half of the journalists killed this year were murdered in Gaza by Israel.

Since the beginning of its genocide, Israel has killed more than 270 Palestinian journalists and media workers.

1) Labour MPs attacking "lefties".
2) Massive drop in Labour party membership & growth in Green party membership.
I wonder if these things could possibly be related?

Another beautiful Shchedryk performance amidst ruins.

It was set in what used to be a DTEK thermal power plant — now destroyed by russia.

The contrast between russia’s destructive nature and the Ukrainian will to create beauty even in the darkest times is palpable.

Today I received FOUR death notifications for people in ICE custody. That's 30 deaths since Trump took office. It's appalling & unacceptable.

ICE is required—by law—to ensure detainees are safe & their basic needs are met. It's clear this isn't the case. We NEED answers.

Why do GB News and the BBC continue to platform Goodwin despite his extremism?
Matthew Goodwin objects to prosecuting this: ‘I think it’s time for the British to gang together, hit the streets and start the slaughter. Violence and murder is the only way now. Start off burning every migrant hotel then head off to MPs’ houses and Parliament, we need to take over by FORCE.’

The increasing convergence of mainstream media organisations, clickbait and the far-right has been one of the worst parts of 2025.

They know full well it wasn't just some "anti immigration tweets". He called for people to join him on the streets, burn down migrant hotels and "start the slaughter".

A great piece by Green Party Deputy Leader @rachelmillward.bsky.social

Migration and asylum are not modern anomalies. They are as old as humanity itself. Yet we have allowed our politics to strip them of their humanity, turning people into numbers, threats, slogans.

As soon as the racist bunting went up and St George crosses were being daubed everywhere, we knew. This was a far-right funded migrant-intimidation campaign, pretending to be about national pride.
Never felt less proud. And many have never felt less safe. Disgusting of politicians to endorse it.
Nigel Farage said that the 'Raise the Colours' campaign was a "grassroots movement driven by ordinary people”.

Kemi Badenoch said they should be "welcomed" as a symbol of "unity"

Now the campaign has pivoted to racially abusing migrants and intimidating charity workers on the beaches of France

Can't say "I s****t Palestine Action"
Can't say "g*****e the Intifada"

Can we still say "Nakba"? How long before people are arrested for saying "Stop killing Palestinians" or "End the war crimes"?

We are fully at the stage of history called by Orwell:

I wonder how Goodwin would feel if this ghoul called for Brits to slaughter him and his family, burn his home(s) to the ground, then move on to start an insurrection?

“Murdering Goodwin is the only way now”

Would they just be innocent anti-Goodwin posts? Or incitement to violence?
