Today is mandatory training day.

When Olive was 1 she had cancer. She was such a strong puppy they said if there was a dog to go through the surgery it was her. It was mentioned they only expected her to live 1-2 more years and if lucky 3-4. I had just lost my Dad and Katharine just had her back surgery.

First of all, if I’m sick I stay home. If everyone did that, we wouldn’t have a problem. Secondly, if I was immune compromised and was at such imminent risk, I would also stay home. Masking is a good tool for pandemics but it can’t be our new way of life.
