Maybe we, as a society, can just stop excusing horrific behavior by powerful people who believe they're above the law?

Well yeah, small government conservatives like today's Republican Party totally get to decide which industries to shut down, and it's for sure not going to be their donors.
The continuing resolution that would re-open the government also includes a provision to close a loophole in the 2018 farm bill, which allowed the sales of CBD products across the country and sparked a hemp industry. (via @lpm.org)

This classic Rockies cap belonged to my grandfather. I never saw him without it, which was a bit odd since he'd lived his entire life in New Jersey.
Other than when he dropped out of high school, joined the Army, and served in the Pacific Theater, that is.

Yeah I'm a fan, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong when I say he totally belongs in the Hall of Fame. It's a travesty that he was only on the ballot once.
