What a good girl
I feel she was robbed of her youth and didn’t get to be a puppy for long. Now she’s even more spoiled than before and has lived the rest of her years as a puppy. My baby. Strong, sweet, kind. The most amazing being I’ve ever met. (Besides my Wife)

They did have to remove an additional rib, bringing the total to 5. She went through chemo and radiation for years. Started out monthly, then quarterly, 6 months then her last one was a year out. This consumed her 3 of her first 4 years. People are always surprised she isn’t a puppy.

We both sunk a lot of our sorrow into love for this dog. Selfishly we couldn’t let her go. They worried that with removing that many ribs, he muscles they pull over to help expand and collapse the lungs might not be enough. Olive was strong. The surgery went well.
