A couple of years ago I was in Greece for Storm Daniel. We didn't have running water for 24 hours. Since then I've kept a reserve of bottled water in the flat, thinking of potential future climate disasters.
Anyway I've needed it twice in the last month and the reason is just: Thames Water exists.
