Funny how regime change is always “necessary,” “temporary,” and “different this time.” And yet it always ends the same way: chaos, suffering, and a long list of apologies that never come.

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

I'm losing track of how many countries a man livid he wasn't given the Nobel Peace Prize has illegally bombed.

Iran. Venezuela. Nigeria. Afghanistan. Iraq. Libya. Pakistan. Somalia. Syria. Yemen.

Not to mention threatening to annex Greenland and Canada and invade Panama.

So now that we are kidnapping leaders of other countries for crimes, how about we deal with the criminal in our Whitehouse?

Can Maduro just bribe Trump now or does he have to wait until he's convicted?

This war and extra-judicial kidnapping is patently illegal and unconstitutional. Political leaders on both sides must condemn it. It’s not about whether Maduro is a tyrant but whether the US is still governed by laws and the Constitution. As if this morning, we are clearly not.

Good morning.

You are waking up to the irony of a convicted felon president, who spent years avoiding his own criminal trials, capturing the president of a sovereign nation and holding him captive for criminal trials.

Get out the vote efforts absolutely help. The reason a lot of people don’t vote is because it’s inconvenient - some folks simply don’t *care* about politics until it impacts them directly.

And more states won’t implement mail in b/c they want the process to be inconvenient. Low turnout helps GOP.

Billionaires and Republican lawmakers figured out a while ago that it is easier and cheaper to manipulate voters with fear and hate than give them what they need.

I’ve been in or around politics for over a half-century now.

I’ve watched as corporations and the super-rich flooded D.C. with campaign cash and ransacked our system.

It won't be easy, but here’s how we break the corporate oligarchy and return power to the people.
