The vast majority of Canadians dislike PP and the vast majority of Canadian Conservatives love PP. We really fucking need electoral reform in this country.

Well, hopefully the right splits theirs too.
Vancouver councillor Pete Fry has announced he’s running for mayor.

Here’s my interview with him on his candidacy, priorities, and the current state of the race.

And we’ve got a BONUS FRIDAY podcast episode with him coming out today as well.

I rode a Lime scooter in the summer and when I got this bill said never again. Email notice just now that they're raising prices.

Meanwhile, I rode a Mobi ebike to my hairstylist last week and the bill was $0.57.

I usually try to read something from the places I travel to. Last year was Norway and I fell down a harry hole.
These fraught times call for a show with what is either an intentionally or unintentionally hilarious title, and which I will be talking about for the rest of the year

Folksy douchebag Darrel Jones, who gouged the public through the pandemic and fallout to record profits for Canada’s grocery store cabal, wants the be the leader of the BC Conservatives. They’re perfect for each other.

Fun fact: due to the on-street parking on 10th Ave and the BC MVA "safe passing" law, drivers are literally unable to legally pass a cyclist on that bikeway.

I am willing to bet that the VPD has never written a ticket on 10th Ave (but I have witnessed them there on a helmet blitz).
Heads up #bikeyvr, we're seeing reports of many drivers using the 10th Ave bikeway as a way of rat-running around the Broadway closure between Quebec and Main. Let me know if this is causing a problem, photos will help us raise the concern with the city.

Last week I sold some bonds and put it into gold and for about an hours I thought that was dumb and now I think maybe I should have moved more.
The price of gold reached a record high on Monday, surging above $5,000 an ounce, as investors sought a safe haven amid heightened geopolitical tensions and rising global risks.
