I see the pain in their eyes. I know their hearts are breaking. Parents should never be afraid to send their kids to learn. On Monday, at least 27,000 students were absent from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools due to ICE operations in the area. And it doesn’t just affect the students who aren’t there.
