Israel has used human rights jargon and terms from IHL to provide a veneer of legality for its genocide in #Gaza.

The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces are now adopting the same practice to perpetrate atrocities in #Sudan.

How RSF is adopting Israel’s ‘template for genocide’ in Sudan
For years, Israel has used human rights terminology to whitewash killing civilians, now the RSF is doing the same.

Really pleased to announce the publication of my latest article "Evidencing alethocide:Israel's war on truth in Gaza" in TWQ. I propose the concept of "alethocide" (killing of truth) to fully capture deliberate, systemic lying in service of genocide.

Two industries have boomed during the war in Sudan gold and livestock. The RSF has looted more than 60% of the 11 million livestock during its siege of the Gezira. Gold has been written abt but this livestock looting is major especially in the middle of a famine/food insecurity.
