A few days after the referendum an Eastern European student told me that they were now afraid to speak their mother tongue openly. While politicians drifted to the hard right, and Kuenssberg and Peston treated it all like some game, real people were and are still suffering.

One can argue how big the difference between racist statements by Starmer and racist statements by Ratcliffe really is.
Which one do you think ‘Island of Strangers’, ‘incalculable damage’ and ‘squalid chapter’ falls into?

How about Starmer and his Home Secretary start apologising for their disgusting anti migrant statements too. Their language often times was very similar to this racist billionaire.

John Healey proudly pictured with the enablers of the Trump regime. Very true to his Labour values.
Call me old fashioned but this is NOT how MOD should do business:

Epstein’s network reached deep into the British state and the only accountability we have so far is a man child called Andrew not being allowed to cosplay as prince anymore.

Cabinet Office minister Josh Simons commissioned PR firm to investigate journalists and their sources

Why? Because they were digging into the dark money behind Labour Together, and Keir Starmer's rise

I don’t get this obsession with McSweeney. He is just an advisor. He cannot do anything without the approval of Starmer. Even when he steps down, the person who let McSweeney act, is still there.
Morgan McSweeney is on the brink of resigning "on his own terms," according to the Sunday Times www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...

Starmer should step down. His crime? He saw Mandelson being close to a prolific pedophile as a means to position an ambassador into the informal power networks around Trump. By doing so, he did what all around Epstein did, ignoring the rape of minors to advance his agenda.

So you had a dual stitch up — the Russian/American oligarchs around Farage and Johnson, and the Russian/American oligarchs around Mandelson. Leave or remain, they didn’t want their contacts investigated. So Brexit went ahead.
Lots of things are beginning to make sense now. Given Mandelson’s role in the People’s Vote, and his proximity to Epstein and his MAGA/Russian ties, no wonder they dismissed @carolecadwalla.bsky.social on Cambridge Analytica/Vote Leave and our joint investigation into Russian interference

Melania didn't care.

If they want to make a movie about her, trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shit, more power to that colossal waste of money. Everyone already knows the truth.

There’s a v cynical media and political blindspot in the Epstein shitshow. A feeding frenzy to get rid of Starmer while red-carpeting Farage into No10. Who is named in the files. As is Candy, Reform’s treasurer. With Bannon. And Brexit.
Don’t cry about abuses of power and then do nothing about him.

Weird and almost universal revisionism today. Even at the time, it was pretty clear that Mandelson wasn't appointed *despite* his dodgy links but *because* of them. Trump's Washington is a dirty swamp. Mandelson was deemed a man able to swim in it. This wasn't a secret. Everybody said it out loud.
