I got so upset at a post on reddit describing someone's murder at the hands of their abuser as getting "game overed" that I had to stop reading and go for a walk. The topic is upsetting enough, the reflexive self-censorship only makes it worse. It's crucial to give serious/heavy topics some dignity.
