I won’t condemn Republicans who decide to turn away from Trump going forward, but let us be clear: Theirs would be no *ethical* repentance. Those with ethics would have turned long ago. Anyone now deciding to pull their toes out of the MAGA pool are doing so ONLY for self-preservation.

#Obama
This made me ugly cry 😭

I will never claim that he was perfect…every president in my lifetime has pissed me off for one reason or another.
But…dammit, I’m so tired of the constant feeling of uneasiness and uncertainty 😔

SO many jaw dropping revelations in this, from them firing 80% of the career ICE field leadership, to Noem's appeals to Republicans to write op-eds backing her, to Lewandowski firing people who wouldn't authorize a gun, to hiring back the fired pilot because they had no one else to fly them home.
The Wall Street Journal story on Noem and Lewandowski is just a bus running over them, backing up, running over them again, and on and on. A line of admin officials waiting to get their turn at the wheel.

I just almost fainted, a wave of blankness rolled across my vision. We can never, never allow this to pass into a new media cycle, whatever it means for our future.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

Amen to this!
It is impossible to represent working people, to represent those who labor and those who struggle, and also represent those who exploit us.

The Democratic Party must choose.

Nearly 60% of Americans are Millennials or younger. Yet we make up just 4% of the U.S. Senate.

No wonder we don't feel represented. Because we aren't.

So two foreign nationals discussed Jared Kushner, a guy who couldn't get security clearance but was able to get $2 billion from Saudi Arabia? And the content of the report is so sensitive that it can't be made public?

Seems like Jared's dad may not wind up being the only felon in the family.
Breaking WSJ:

The highly classified whistleblower complaint against Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is related to a conversation intercepted last spring in which two foreign nationals discussed Jared Kushner, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

When are you ever going to learn Tim Cook? You lay down with a filthy dog you get up with dirty fleas… you bonehead.
The FTC has sent a letter to Tim Cook because Apple News is too woke and needs to include more right wing content.

This would sound silly even for The Onion but it’s our current reality.

Every politician says "more housing." It's not enough to say "more housing." We should demand a serious housing agenda.

BONDI: He does work for us, yes. I believe he was pardoned

NEGUSE: And you expect hard-working police officers to believe you take law enforcement seriously?

I’ve watched a lot of congressional hearings over the last 40 years. This performance by Bondi is the single most unprofessional, non-responsive, reprehensible and obnoxious I have ever seen from any witness who has testified before any committee of either chamber.
