Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

I keep saying I wish there were a new word for the special kind of lying that the United States government is currently doing, and this gets to it. It's not intended to be convincing, because if you need convincing, that means you have some power. This is more like "you'll believe what we tell you."
