Enjoyed seeing Haitian representation w/ his fam, though I can't speak to its authenticity. Otherwise, this feels like a filler ep. Obviously Disney is all about family, but I've never seen so many superheroes' families outside #MCU. It's worn out & lazy writing. #tvsky 📺

Watched the first ep of Wonder Man last night & was really impressed. Character focused drama with some comedy & hint of superpowers, shot beautifully, & solid lead actors. Looking forward to more. Disney didn't advertise it well, but the whole season is out now. Doesn't feel MCU, which is 👍 #tvsky
Could someone please tell the #Fallout showrunners that not 👏 every 👏 scene 👏 needs 👏 dramatic 👏 music? And in fact switching from one scene to another with completely tonally different music undercuts the previous emotions and distracts the audience. It's really absurd.

Scifi CRPGs are a severely lacking category of CRPGs. Trying to find something like Shadowrun, or BG3 but scifi, and results seem to give maybe 10 kinda contenders, but none as noteworthy as the number of quality fantasy CRPGs. Seems like an opening for studios. #gamesky #videogames #scifi 🕹

Did not anticipate a future in which it would be possible for someone to develop a codependency to an LLM that sells Cheetos and possibly commit suicide in aisle 5, but it looks like we may be headed there. Another argument for pickup groceries. Solid article & reporting though!

A few fun concepts so far in #fallout season 2, but we're only 3 episodes in & it already feels meh. The pacing is pretty shit, the directing & editing do not match the tonal styling of Fallout, & characters are spinning wheels in clearly expositional situations. These showrunners suck.

Just 2 episodes left of #pluribus & I'm still loving this weird experiment of a show. The sense of isolation, even when in nature, was really compelling in the latest episode. Seeing how it can strengthen or chip away a character's resolve, how vastly altered the world is, & how it goes on w/o us...

I admit #pluribus is extending out the plot & it certainly isn't for everyone. For me personally, I'm still enjoying it because I like seeing how the characters live in this changed world. I see it as character study of the new world & those who are left in it. But I like experimental stuff, so 🤷.
the most recent episode is kind of a perfect example, an hour or whatever of TV designed to impress, but what did anyone actually get out of it except understanding that this dude is obstinate as fuck, which we already knew? what was revealed other than the show having a massive budget and good DP?
