The "Archie" newspaper strip first appeared 80 years ago, on February 4, 1946. (Those of you who are connected with me on social media know that I’ve been serializing this strip, which started out very strong, from its debut. We’re now into early 1949.) Here’s the first week of dailies:

Gonna go with Tiny Ruins, "Me At The Museum, You In The Winter Gardens" and go to bed happy, thinking about how much I love that song
Deleted a post about “what’s your least favorite song” because the vibes are bad enough already.

Instead: what’s your favorite song that has a long title, say at least 6 words long?

Mine: “Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town” (Pearl Jam)

If all these oligarchs named in the Epstein Files are totally innocent, surely they’d be in favor of an independent investigation into Epstein’s crimes.

Right?

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Elliot Ness' tombstone is in Cleveland's Lakeview Cemetery, following his instructions. Right next to Harvey Pekar's! He died in 1957, broke and suffering from alcoholism (the irony!).

I walk past it often while on weekly strolls. There are usually small booze bottles left on it.

Renee Good was shot 3 times by ICE

The first two shots were non lethal. One to her left forearm & another to right breast

The final shot entered the left side of her head & exited the right side

He didn’t have to keep shooting. He was out of the vehicle’s path before the kill shot

That’s murder
