So much of identity now-a-days is wrapped up in “what I know.” How many arguments have started with “I know…” only for the person to spout off something blown out of proportion or wrong. Emotion overrides reason every time. Fear is the biggest handle. #teathoughts

Something that I learned while teaching adults is that they absolutely CANNOT abide by losing face. If you are teaching someone & they feel like they are losing face, you will lose them immediately. This is what happens re: politics too. Rather than lose face, folks will triple down on wrongness.
