So much of identity, observable currently, is wrapped up in “what I know.” How many arguments have started with “I know…” only for the person to spout off something blown out of proportion or just wrong. Emotion overrides reason every time. Fear is the biggest handle. #teathoughts

My mind imagines the “you should see the other guy”, and a host of the extraordinary and mundane events surrounding this.

Thank you for this. It’s a challenge all over, the ability to admit fallibility. In any arena of interaction. Regardless of the “right/fact” you have, you have to leave the opponent an out that lets them save face.
