With Trump declaring ANTIFA a terrorist organization, it bears remembering that he once told us that the MAGA January 6 insurrectionists were ANTIFA.

This is the future we're in for: anti-woke infrastructure spending. It looks a lot like the past.

Also, and not for nothing (and also, I am not a lawyer — was rejected by *every law school I applied to) that Fed carve-out in Wilcox was thin to begin with. We’ll see what happens now…
It’s hard to overstate how big a deal this is - for the economy (ours and globally), for the rule of law, and for the proper and efficient function of government.

President Trump said he was removing Lisa Cook from the Federal Reserve's board of governors, an extraordinary step that could undermine the central bank's independence and seeks to oust the first Black woman to serve on the board. Legally, a president may only dismiss a governor “for cause.”

“I have determined that there is sufficient cause to remove you from your position,” Mr. Trump said in a letter. Her dismissal threatened to touch off a landmark legal battle over the Fed’s independence.
