It’s called lack of imagination.
There's a whole lot of folks in politics and media who low-key believe they can get through this era unscathed if they just keep their head down and don't piss off Trump. And some have multiple degrees earned by reading texts that specifically warned about the foolishness of this strategy. Tragic.
