It's something I love about video games. When you can build a narrative around limitations and then enhance the storytelling and characters at the same time.
Always liked the punched mirror in Jensen's apartment. Tells you something about the character while simultaneously dealing with the fact that the game engine can't do mirrors. Economical.

I've been shocked recently when talking to friends (Male) by how little they read fiction.
Not many read books at all, but those who do read tend to go for political or social commentary books.
When did #fiction become an afterthought for a lot of men? & what can we as #writers do about it?

I'm pro #AI When it comes to disability & accessibility.
But this short burst, short from video slop is pure brain rot.
Any time I see a single #Sora video on my timeline it feels like an affront to human creativity on a deeply ingrained level.
I absolutely fucking hate it.

“How could writers not have any influence?” My brother I cannot count the number of times I’ve been hired for: hey we fully designed and animated this level, it has no story or dialogue, and playtesters hate it. Could you slap some words on it to make it feel less pointless?

Had a great gig as TV reviewer for The Lady Magazine earlier this year which I enjoyed immensely. However, this institution first published in 1885 folded suddenly back in the spring just when I was getting into my stride. Never even got paid! Still, if anyone needs a TV reviewer - I’m available!

I was cutting it close on getting this one done in time, but I stayed up super late see it through haha.
In the end, after a month of hard work, I think it makes for a nice piece to wrap up October.
