Those much loved Mii characters are back on the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo has done away with genders. Now when creating a fresh new Mii you are simply asked to Select a Style and there's a generic male and female model to choose from. Other thing to note is the Miis don't seem to have had a shiny redesign so they look very similar to how they looked on the Wii, Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
