With the tariffs taking effect, my coworkers and I have been discussing resources in our WhatsApp group to prioritize Canadian products and boycott American brands. I will be creating an ongoing list of resources to help others do the same.

I got up, made coffee from my local BC coffee roaster, and whipped up a batch of crispy waffles using Canadian milk, fresh eggs from a local farmer, and flour from Canadian sources. Adding Canadian maple syrup! We can do this!

If American politicians are so worried about fentanyl, instead of pretending it’s coming from Canada, they should work on providing services and solutions to the opioid usage epidemic and support those at risk for fentanyl poisoning so they can avoid or eliminate it.

Really? CBSA is making me pay ADDITIONAL sales tax and a handling fee for a package from an independent yarn dyer in the States, even though there’s NO duties on it. Getting hard to be able to continue supporting small businesses in North America with this kind of bullshit. 😡
