Made 2 rookie errors yesterday, and assumed that random people on the internet who don't follow you a) read your posts in full and b) can understand context.

On the positive side, I now have empirical evidence that some AI evangelists have no sense of humour, so there's that.

If I were the CEO of Thames Water, I'm not sure that I'd have said - on camera - that one of my biggest problems was Ofwat's focus *on dividend payments to shareholders*

This was a gentle, bittersweet watch. @seanronayne.bsky.social's 'Birdsong' documentary has (I think) a positive message at its heart, but jeez, it's sad that so many of the species I'm lucky enough to see regularly are under threat.

(and starlings are still elemental, magical creatures)
