As someone who works in a sector that delights in using the term, I've always found it a horribly reductive word, minimising the skill, talent, and effort put in by writers, artists, designers, videographers, musicians etc - no coincidence that the creative industries feel so undervalued right now.

The prompt wording seems to be a factor, but yes - seen a number of people trying the same test and generating the same (wrong) answer. In general these models are getting better, but we still only know the output is wrong if we definitely know the right answer... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not mine, and I'm sure you may have seen this elsewhere but yeah... PhD level this is not. Just as well people aren't deploying it within critical systems in government departments or other low-key stuff like that.

@privateeyenews.bsky.social have been keeping tabs on this. I'm sure recent suggestions from others that Unbound may have been trading while technically insolvent would be of interest to them, likewise the increasingly eye-watering sums of £££ owed / unpaid despite public assurances to the contrary.

I visited yesterday and had the pleasure of chatting with some other attendees - we all agreed this was a really well-staged and informative show, and brilliantly realised for the first exhibition in your new space. Look forward to returning to see more of your treasures 👍
