I bought a robot vacuum/mop friend to help me keep my floors clean, because my floor is just about the last concern I have 99% of the time due to the ADHD, AND because I’m really far away from the floor and it makes cleaning the floors way more annoying.

It’s just really annoying when you see two paths forward in your career, you know there’s a place for both of them at your current employer where everyone would benefit, and NOBODY is willing to let you take half a step toward anything.

It’s a long story, but I advocated to myself at work and managed to either negotiate my way out of a pay decrease (again, long story, it’s not that insane)
OR
I made somebody double check their work because my job was about to unintentionally pay me $3k a year less than what they meant to pay me.

Finally bought a god damn console table for the entry area in my apartment so I can have a cute little place to put my stuff down and maybe put a bench there so I can put my shoes on.

Got degrees in music and learned that a lot of people in the performing arts world absolutely fucking SUCK. Directors, fellow singers, administrators, etc.
I pivoted into arts-adjacent tech and feel better about myself than I ever did in the performing arts world.
