I randomly watched the pilot episode for "Silicon Valley" the other day and the seeds of all the bullshit we have to deal with now were there, but seemingly benign and mere comic exaggerations. Just like "Idiocracy." Mike Judge knows shit, man. I wish it weren't...*this.*

I am so disheartened by what is happening in much of the world right now. I would like my pessimism to not take over my entire consciousness, if that makes any sense.

One form of therapy I use is yelling at music documentaries when members of the band are lame. The Blur one is not quite as dorky as that long one about The Eagles, but most of them whinge about being up late and hurt knees and shit. Like, dudes, that is what *my* film would be about.

Alright, we are watching the Richard Linkletter- Julie Delpy- Ethan Hawk movies and they are getting to my wife and I. Completely lovely and romantic. These are also robot love stories because Delpy cannot be an actual human, IMO. Like, girl, you can't be all that in one person. She's an alien, man

I became irrationally angry when a food truck reality show I was half watching over lunch incorrectly identified Springfield IL as Lincoln's birthplace. I am ridiculous.
