Not to get political, but the rest of the world is very pretty and has a lot of nice folks making cool things, and I think if we had a US president who wasn’t actively trying to murder us, we could have a pretty good time. (Yes, even the "Good" ones have actively fucked the rest of the world.)

I posit that if a class is so heavily predicated on using one specific spell and any changes to that spell ruin the class for you then that spell is out of line with the games intended balance and you're wrong for thinking it's the norm

I dunno man, I think maybe combining your self loathing, need to keep everyone happy, a weird philosophy major attitude towards your actions and a Calvinist self flagellation when others suffer because of their own reaction to your choices is probably not healthy way to live.
