@visiblerestraint.bsky.social melted my brain today to cap off a full week together at Charmed. During, they suggested I feel their touch on one part of my body in a different place. They can reproduce sensations from memory very easily; my kinesthetic sense is less accessible to my conscious bits.

Erickson throws a fair bit of shade in Hypnotic Realities, this included, but I love this idea: When someone is fixated externally, there are all these internal processes that are ready to be accessed, changing the focal point from outer to inner as part of the induction.
