There are so many great people in the movement but I want to give credit due to @bdlimm.bsky.social for being a tireless leader and always looking to the future. Yesterday’s win cannot happen without people like Bright.
We did it. And who are we?

2️⃣ @nywfp.bsky.social, which cohered NYC's organized Left;
3️⃣ @bradlander.bsky.social, Adrienne, and Zellnor, who united against Cuomo; and
4️⃣ The 50,000 of us who did the work in the field.

Unlike on the Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges, pedestrians on the Queensboro were forced to share the space with the rising number of cyclists and other people on things like stand-up scooters and *shudder* onewheels.
The result? Madness.

Never been a big wrestling person but I have begun to analyze everything from the WWE point of view when it comes to understanding national politics. Violence, rage, aggression, sex appeal are keys to winning the issue.
