The one thing I wasn't warned about when purchasing a MiSTer was that if I wanted to look at WIP & Unstable cores I'd have to dig through a discord with some of the most unfunny people I've ever seen posting AI generated memes at each other. It is so painful

I don't even feel dissappointed. Just a little broken.
I doubt many will feel as negatively strongly for Once Upon a Katamari, but someone had to be the party pooper.
Deeply misguided game in every way, and the ways it's good had already been perfected by the ogs.

This is really bad if you like fighting game competition stuff, but it is probably great if you are a top fighting game competitor in full on grifter mode looking for a payday and you don't care where the money comes from and are probably going to pivot into right wing podcasting soon.

i've been thinking a little bit about this story i heard of some FPS where one of the guns was supposedly overpowered, and this didn't make sense to the developers because they could see the underlying numbers and knew it shouldn't be, but the match results did indeed show the gun was overperforming
