The richest man on earth owns X.

The second richest man on earth is about to acquire TikTok and his family could soon own both Paramount and Warner Bros.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fourth richest man owns The Washington Post.

See the problem here?

My niece asked me (and all of the family "old ladies") to go get tattoos with her for her 18th birthday. What should I get? Will have to be something simple & small.

I wonder how many nights I've spent at the Highlander watching my husband's games. Gotta be a few days' worth of my life.

Anyhow, he's having a good night. Oy let in one so far, and we're into the third.

All I'm saying is if @winnipegpolice.bsky.social want to make some quick cash, they should hang out and catch the drag racers on west Portage. Every damn night.

One of the best things about cleaning out the cottage fridge at the end of season is the end bits. I just scored a 2L bottle half-full of pickle brine. Going to have a fabulous brined tenderloin one night soon.

James Dobson has gone to glory, and he would not want to see us grieving. Instead, we should live according to his example. We should all go out and interview a serial killer today

James Dobson has passed away and if you are so insensitive and uncharitable that you would speak ill of the dead before his body is cold in the ground I think you and I can be good friends.

End of the day great. Made a cherry shrub from BC cherries a few weeks ago, with vanilla bean. Threw in some sage and rosemary from the garden to the mix. It's delightful.

Cooked from-frozen pierogi in my new air fryer tonight, and they weren't half bad. I'll have to work out the time a bit better though; they were slightly overcooked. Interesting was that I could taste the filling much better than when I normally boil them - didn't expect that.

Chile Lindo was a great pavilion tonight, but I have to dock marks for the lack of children on stage who clearly do not want to be doing traditional dancing.
