In December of 1991 - 33 years ago - Ukrainians voted overwhelmingly (92%) for their independence.

In the Donbass region, the pro-independence vote was 85% and in Crimea it was 54%.

Turnout was 84%. Ukrainians chose to be free from Russia and Putin can't undo this vote with his military.

An absolute joy working on the weekend - putting up owl boxes.

This is where you can find us 7 days a week, from dawn to dusk - sowing seeds, planting trees and wildflowers, digging ponds, building reptile banks, giving Nature a helping hand.

Meet Osmia biolor - the Red-tailed Mason bee. This stunning wee solitary
#bee
is one of 3 UK species who lay their eggs in abandoned snail shells

She's one my favourite bees, so I was delighted last summer to spot this female checking out a snail shell when I stopped in a lay-by for a sandwich

Read that again: **116** times.

Why are we STILL having to argue the case for rewilding??

And it is literally true. If you establish safe routes, at least in Northern France, then it also becomes easier to deal with smuggling gangs.

Britain is now "directly involved" in Ukraine war after its Storm Shadow missiles were used to strike targets inside Russia, according to Moscow's ambassador

In other news Russia is using Chinese, Iranian & North Korean equipment, technology & manpower, but apparently they are not involved🤔

Nigel Farage wants to continue to a give people like billionaire James Dyson, one of Britain’s biggest landowners with 36,000 acres of land, an Inheritance Tax break.
Who will make up the shortfall in tax?
Look in the mirror. Yep, it’s you.

- 40% of farms bought by investors.
- A farming couple can pass on up to £3 million tax free
- Only asset value > £3 million would be subject to inheritance tax at 20% (half the usual 40% on other assets)
- Tax can be paid interest free in 10 years.
