Hi folks, I see everyone here posts their local wildlife🐦🕊️. We'll I did not want to be left out. Here's a video of a (I believe) mated pair of red Pale Billed (or woody🙂) Woodpeckers that live in the empty property across from me. I have to record through the window screen or they'll leave.

Some say it is illegal to arrest a sitting president. It is not. The president is subject to the law like everyone. That none have been arrested in the U.S. is only a policy internal to the DOJ based on the need for continuity of government operations--a policy that never imagined a criminal POTUS.

One of the UK’s most beautiful mushrooms to my mind, the Wrinkled Peach (Rhodotus palmatus) is much less rare than one might think. I’ve found it in at least 3 different locations. As appetising as it looks, and despite its name, this one is in fact not considered an edible - bitter and rubbery.

Happy day to all! One of my favorite visitors, the Pine Marten! I love their high energy level. They have a high metabolic rate, and semi- retractable claws. They are excellent swimmers, and are able to rotate their ankles 180 degrees!
