By bringing our nasal spray evidence directly to policymakers, research teams are accelerating talks about how simple, preventative measures can inform NHS winter preparedness, antimicrobial resistance and public health messaging.

Well done to all 👏
Congratulations to Professor Paul Little, winning Royal College of General Practitioners Research Paper of the Year 🌟

He and his team’s research found that simple nasal sprays, can shorten illness, ease symptoms and even reduce the need for antibiotics.

If you're thinking, "They don’t deserve that," consider what your goal is. Is it to keep your enemies as your enemies, or to help people change their minds? If it's the latter, we have to lower the social and psychological cost of admitting error. /5

It would be so helpful if you could RT my post above about my Etsy shop. I haven't been able to work for more than half the year due to severe depression/a breakdown. If you see this & could spare a few moments for a RT it would help me put my designs in front of a few more eyes. Thankyou so much🌿

Swearing, booing and spitting: is crowd behaviour out of control?

Brian Patten was my first introduction to poetry outside of curriculum texts.

Can’t remember the discussion that prompted it, but the fab Mrs Winter lent me Vanishing Trick. It blew my little mind. Poems about sex! With swear words! My love of poetry was born.

Vale Brian Patten, and thank you.
