#AutChat A4: Fluorescent lighting is evil and painful. I can't stand it. But delivering pizzas meant I spent most of my time in my car, which didn't have that. Working overnights meant I didn't also have the sun to deal with. Opening kitchens alone means no one notices if I don't turn the lights on.

#AutChat A3: By the time I knew autism was a factor in this, I was already largely out of the workforce. But looking back, it seems like that was part of the reason I had so many jobs; whenever I got "sick of" one, probably starting to get burnt out, I would just leave it for another one.

#AutChat A2: I have always been kind of a charming person that does well at telling jokes and stories. So I could get away with telling stories and having some funny conversations, and they would usually take that as being open and social without really feeling too exposed in the process.

#AutChat A1a: Dressing differently? Absolutely. But I consider all clothing to be a series of socially-mandated costumes, so what I wear to work is just the costume for that place.

Behavior? Usually yes to some degree. I definitely masked more in the workplace than at home. Success varied.
