okay, wow. I had my Kobo plugged in to my laptop to charge (as I always do.) It wasn't connected to the computer, just charging. Pulled out the cable to replug it back in to connect AND the USB plug was BURNING HOT! - burned my thumb!
I've left it unplugged for now. Do I need a new Kobo?

What’s something you loved recently?
I had a fantastic time with Mr. Warren’s Profession, an mm Regency romance featuring a clueless golden retriever of an aristocrat and a more down-to-earth clerk. It grapples with class difference, addresses labor rights, and has some great female characters too.

The maybe cruelest thing of social media is that it would be a better world if we all stopped rage posting so much, but yelling about how much Hasan Piker sucks is ten times more appealing to the crowd than gushing about the wonderful book I just read. (It's Nameless, go read it.)

Just filed my tax return for 2025. Took all of 15 minutes, bc I own nothing of value; I have minimal interest income & I survive on social security payments.
Basically, it means I owe nothing & I get nothing.

I just realized that today is Tuesday, not Wednesday. Maybe bc my brain is fried. I've been up since about 3 AM, bc nosebleed & having to take a shower at that unholy hour...bc nosebleed. No point in going back to bed.
