Ah, that thing in fiction where the characters have to be idiots for the plot to work, except I'm listening to a podcast or reading an article and it's "The speaker has to have huge gaps in their critical thinking to get to what they want, which is the rant."

the political policy cure for “male loneliness” is

- more time to hang with the fellas (4 day work week)

- more money to spend with the fellas (higher wages)
