GCSE Maths distributions by board and age (16 and 17+). AQA’s entry has a larger proprtion of resits than Pearson. OCR and Eduqas don’t report age data so are lumped together, but Eduqas’ grade distribution suggests most of their entry is 17+. OCR tend to have a larger F entry.

Further evidence of England's improvement in maths today with the release of the TIMSS 2023 test which allows for comparisons across countries.

Particularly good news at year 9 (13 year olds) where we've seen a decent jump despite the pandemic (unlike other countries).
