I learnt a lot during this Genuary, and have many ideas that I want to explore further in the year ahead.

I made a version of this in shadertoy a couple of years back. I was trying to make fractals. Got Claude to help me get it into #p5.js. Now my weekend plans have all been trashed.

More like Its not a bug, its a glitch.
Learned about how get(), tint() and image() work together.

I started this a year when I was trying to figure out keys. This shows the last 50 repeated steps in a random walk, thicker being traversed more times. Sort of looks like it is mutating.

This was a lot of Claude. I learned alot about this topic as I was familiar with it, but knew next to zero about how to do it. This was a good learning experience.

I wasn't feeling it today, so I went with an easy win with reflected random walks in @desmos.com. I need to mock this up in #p5.js later.

I suck at recursion. I watched a youtube video that walked through the constrution of rectangular subdivisions. one thing led to another.
this one ends up looking like stained glass in a church.

Only a grid of circles. I got to thinking about this from the pen plotter one #genuary22, and was wanting to add color and learn more about noise.

Got another version I am working on.

Meet @genuary-gallery.bsky.social! I'm still working on the scheduling part, but it already helped me find many great creators.

I learned about blendMode() today.

I have learned a bunch about noise() and map() this month. I started with a grid of randomly-sized dots, added noise() to make the random seem less random, with help from Claude to make the wave motion.

I randomly continue foward or turn left 120 degrees or right 120 degrees and am always taking random step lengths.
